Master of Management in International Arts Management (MMIAM)

Admission requirements
The MMIAM program takes place on the campuses of five partner universities in five countries: the United States, Canada, Colombia, a country in Asia and Italy. All courses are given in English. 
 
In order to enrol in the MMIAM program, you must make sure you meet the programs admission requirements before completing your application.

These requirements are:
  • the completed application form
  • two certified true copies of your official transcripts, issued by the postsecondary institutions you attended and confirming that you have earned an undergraduate diploma; if you are in the process of obtaining your diploma, you must agree to provide proof of having earned it one semester before the start of the MMIAM program
  • a photocopy of your degrees attesting to your previous university studies
  • your curriculum vitae
  • a certified copy of your birth certificate
  • your official TOEFL or IELTS results (if English is not your first language, unless you completed high school, college or university in English)
  • two letters of recommendation, written in French, English or Italian (applicants must not see the content of the letters of recommendation)
  • a motivation letter
  • one passport-size photos with a white background, signed on the back (for identification purpose only)
  • a copy of your passport (information page with photo + signature only)
  • payment of US$100 (non-refundable) to cover the processing fee
The evaluation of your file is based on your curriculum vitae and your application for admission, taking into consideration your academic record, the pertinence of your work experience (where applicable), your results on the required tests, your potential contribution to the learning of your peers and your motivation for enrolling in the program.

Your application will be assessed based on the following criteria:
  • application form duly completed and submitted by the deadline
  • undergraduate diploma earned with a grade point average of at least 3.0 out of 4.3; for studies undertaken in a foreign country, the diploma must be deemed equivalent and must have been obtained after at least 16 years of education
  • relevant work experience in the arts or cultural industries
  • for students whose first language is not English, TOEFL or IELTS (English comprehension)
  • your two letters of recommendation
  • the benefits you will potentially derive from the MMIAM
  • pertinence of your contribution (professional experience, culture, personality, background) relative to the other candidates in your cohort
  • originality, pertinence and feasibility of your final project
  • compliance with deadlines and payment requirements
