Managing for Money. A Handbook for International Cultural Institutions
The Fund for Arts and Culture sponsored this Handbook. It was written by Jillian Poole, founder and President of The Fund who has a wide background in institutional development, government liaison and nonprofit management including public relations and fundraising. The handbook is available online in English, Russian, Ukrainian, Bulgarian, Georgian, Serbian, Romanian, and Albanian
For nineteen years she was responsible for planning and executing all the development programs of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Americas National Cultural Center, a responsibility that eventually included its partner The National Symphony Orchestra for many years. She taught management at the graduate level at American University. She has worked in Central and Eastern Europe since 1991.
