Two years-full time (40 hours/week)

The Project Coordinator/Researcher will work as part of a project team to expand and establish web-based access to the Database of Women Artists. The Project Coordinator/Researcher will report to the Director of the Library and Research Center.
Responsibilities include:
* Coordinating all aspects of project, including planning meetings and conference calls, and ensuring that project proceeds on schedule
* Documenting all plans for database development, research, and marketing
* Assisting with creation of brochure for marketing of the Database of Women Artists
* With LRC Director and Archivist, developing research strategy for pilot project to include expanded information about 300 core women artists from NMWA's permanent collection in the Database of Women Artists
* As part of pilot project, researching 300 core women artists from NMWA's permanent collection. Research will be done in a variety of ways, including using Internet, online databases, print sources, and personal contacts. This may require travel to other local art libraries
* Supervise Project Assistant
Qualifications: MA in art history; MLS degree or equivalent; coursework and/or knowledge of women artists; excellent research and organizational skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills; knowledge of foreign languages
