Market leading brands such as Biema, Global Truss, JTS, K-array, Klein + Hummel, LAX, Martin-Audio, Martin Professional, Mackie, Neumann, Nexo, Penn Elcom, Pioneer, Sennheiser, Showtacle, Shure, Superlux, Tapco, Triple Onda and TW Audio will be displayed in an exhibition space of 20,000 sqm. The exhibitors come from China, Belgium, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Korea, Liechtenstein, the Netherlands, Spain, Slovakia, Taiwan, the UK and the USA.

With such a wide range of exhibits, Mr Evan Sha, Deputy General Manager, Messe Frankfurt Shanghai Co Ltd said that the introduction of two new themed zones will make it easier for visitors to find what they need quickly. The International Zone will highlight some renowned international brands, while the Parts and Accessories Zone will showcase pro-audio and lighting components and parts, he explained.

Visitors to the show will have the chance to see Sennheisers new Evolution Wireless G3 product, making its first public appearance in Asia. Sennheiser is a leading German microphone manufacturer and its new product is aimed at artists performing live on stage, whether it be in a small club or large concert hall, theatre and operatic stage or convention hall. Evolution Wireless G3 is also suitable for broadcast programmes involving interviewing.

According to Ms Victoria Song, Marketing Manager of Sennheiser Electronic (Beijing) Co Ltd, Evolution Wireless G3 offers a huge variety of sets and accessories for secure wireless sound transmission. From a simple microphone set to a fully integrated multichannel application, the G3 series survives even the toughest live tour, Ms Song said. Nexo is one of the worlds leading loudspeaker manufacturers and the French brand is making its first appearance at Prolight + Sound, represented by Hong Kong distributor, Top Plot International Ltd.

Prolight + Sound Shanghai comes at the right time in the right place for our future operations, said Mr Chow of Top Plot which has represented Nexo for more than 12 years through sales offices in Hong Kong Beijing, Nanjing and Guangzhou. We will be displaying the latest GEO S12 line array, RS15 directional subwoofer and NXAMP 4x4 powered controller. These products are aimed at high-end sound reinforcement users in rental, fixed installations, entertainment and public facilities.

Nexos products are currently installed at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Centre, Beijing Moon Temple Stadium and Art Lounge at Bund.
