The Australia Business Arts Foundation is calling for nominations for the AbaF Awards 2005
The AbaF Awards honour Australia's best relationships between the private sector and the arts. 2005 is the fifth year of the AbaF Awards.
Thirteen awards will be presented in categories covering Partnerships, Volunteering, Philanthropy and Leadership.
AbaF is holding briefings in each state to assist organisations to prepare their nominations.
The AbaF Awards reflect the range of AbaF services offered to the arts and the private sector. AbaF works across three service areas: Partnerships, Volunteering and Philanthropy, and there are Awards in all three areas.
The AbaF Business Arts Partnership of the Year, along with the eight other Partnership Awards, honour business arts partnerships that are providing benefits to business, arts organisations and communities.
The KPMG adviceBank Award honours a business volunteer who has provided exceptional expertise and advice to an arts organisation.
The Goldman Sachs JBWere Artsupport Australia Philanthropy Leadership Award honours an individual, family, group, foundation or other entity that has made an exceptional contribution to cultural philanthropy.
The Award winners will be announced on 28 July at the AbaF Awards Dinner in Sydney.
