To be admitted to this advanced degree course, students must hold a three year degree or university diploma or similar qualification from abroad that is recognized as equivalent. As a rule, admission to the degree course is open to those students who have earned a threeyear degree in one of the following classes: 11 (Modern Languages and Cultures) and 12 (Linguistic Mediation), 10 (Letters), 3 (Visual Arts, Performing Arts and Fashion) and 1 (Cultural Goods). They must also have upper intermediate/advanced proficiency (roughly equivalent to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference) in one foreign language and intermediate proficiency (roughly equivalent to level B2) in a second foreign language. The regulations governing the degree course lay out the procedures for determining whether candidates have met the requirements for admission and, if applicable, how they need to go about making up any deficiencies in their academic background.
