* official TOEFL scores (for all students whose undergraduate work was not in English)
* a resume of your employment, volunteer and community service experience
* a 1000-word essay describing one of the challenges facing your field and how your experience and proposed study will help you address that challange.
* three recommendations from persons who can provide academic and/or professional references
* $ 50 application fee (make checks payable to Carnegie Mellon)
