Europa Nostra, the pan-European federation for heritage, is organising a major European Cultural Heritage Forum on 7 December in Brussels, "Cultural Heritage Counts for Europe" with the cooperation of the European Economic and Social Committee.
Zagreb hosted on November 11-13 and 18-19, in the framework of the Zagreb - Cultural Capital of Europe 3000 (ZKC3000) platform, a series of public discussions and performances on the topic "what kind of institutions do we need?" initiated by the Center for Drama Art (CDU).

Meeting Points is an artistic event organized by the Young Arab Theatre Fund (YATF), the International Network for Contemporary Performing Arts (IETM ) and On the Move (OTM), in celebration of the anniversary of the Barcelona Process aiming to create connections and platforms for interaction amongst artists, cultural operators and programmers in the Euro-Med region.
The next AAAE conference will taking place on April 20 -22 in Toronto, Canada, hosted by the University of Toronto at Scarborough. The working title is "Foundations for Success: Excellent Students, Faculty and Programs". Directors and Faculty members of leading arts management courses from the United States, Canada, Australia and European countries will be participating on this 3-day-event in Ontario, Canada. Dirk Schutz and Dirk Heinze from the Arts Management Network will join the conference, too.
The VIII Conference European Culture was held at the University of Navarra, Pamplona, Spain, between the 19th and the 22nd October 2005. The conference organization aimed at promoting the encounter of scholars from a wide variety of backgrounds who would present papers under the theme of Europe: encounters and frontiers.

The Nordic Music Committee (NOMUS), the Nordic Institute for Contemporary Art (NIFCA), the Nordic Literature and Library Committee (NORDBOK) and the Nordic Centre for the Performing Arts (NordScen) will stop operating as official Nordic institutions in 2007 due to the structural changes concerning cultural co-operation in the Region agreed by the Ministers of Culture.
